That would make the most sense, and I figured they would be stuck with whatever decision. But with most things in the NHL there always seems to be some grey area to stick it to Buffalo.

their decision is made after the lottery is over. so they will be well aware if they win the lottery or not.

I get that, but I am looking along the lines if they aren't able to get the return (since the consensus is that they will trade the pick this year for the help they need) would they try to change their mind and give us the pick, or be stuck with the pick.

I am sure there are legalities behind it and that they have to stick to their decision. I wasn't sure if it was black and white or if they still had room to change their minds.

So Mike Weber was quoted as saying "Enough is Enough" today. The irony isn't lost on me, but I agree. Hopefully the Sabres take it to heart when it comes to giving his roster spot to someone else.

I guess that should give them ample time to make that decision and answers that question fully.

Thank you kindly.

U don't trade away a top 5 pick. U will never get that in return also if they do that then that means they don't have a 1st or 2nd round pick this year and a 1st next year. That will really set back their organization. I think snow is gonna keep this years pick to give the illusion of a plan and buy himself some time to save his job. I just don't see the isles being better than any team in the playoffs next year. Plus Toronto is gonna make some moves. Plus Washington could bounce back.

I know this team needs scoring badly, but if the Sabres end up with him, I highly doubt we'll be disappointed in a couple of years.
