I am trying, I am trying, but you guys aren't making it any easier. Plus, I am out Tuesday and Wednesday, so not much I can do over that span

I am just so damn aggravated about this whole thing it's hard to stop and be obedient.

I agreed to stop using other ID's, to wait for my ban to clear up like a good soldier, and then I make a joke about being under probation and I get a 3 month ban.

It's complete B.S.

Totally like this right now >>>>

If you have more than one identity on HockeyBuzz, just know that if one of those identities is banned, for any reason, you are expected to honor that ban. Not post as anyone else. The alt switching to be oh so clever isn't clever and will result in long bans for all alts. Yes, we'll play whack a mole with you until you eventually make yourself enough of a nuisance to be permanently banned from the site. And no, it doesn't matter how popular you are or think you are. The mods have their own place to post and confab. Complaints about alts and identification of them for other mods happen all the time. And if you have multiple alts, it may be hard to remember what the original ID is.

I hate for anyone to be banned during the playoffs if they usually have valuable insights. Or even if they don't. But especially if you've been warned before, the idea of coming back and insulting a ref because they've done what they warned you they'd do isn't helping your case with the commissioner.

Enjoy the series. (And boy I'm glad Billy Joel is playing the Garden Wednesday night, because if that noon Easter home game was ours I'd be pissed.)

So, is this a done deal? May I respectfully suggest that you make one more allowance on this one? I get what you are saying, I really do. But, is there a chance for some type of pardon here? Or a suspended sentence?

are you banning this ID? yes or no.

If you are going to let me be, I will be a good soldier and not cause any problems.

If you plan on banning it, ban it already.

I don't want to be stuck in limbo anymore

He has an active primary ID, under which he is posting. So far as I know he has no bans on the alts that didn't stem from discipline on the primary. So he should be good.

Hey Bo, a little off topic from this post....I've noticed that whenever someone in another teams blog posts that they are going to a Rangers game at MSG that you usually advise them not to wear their jersey and to pretty much not give away any hints that they are a fan of the visiting team. I understand you had a bad experience one time but that happens everywhere regardless of the fanbase. However when you keep posting this to various people all you are doing is giving good rangers fans a bad name. It's unfortunate that this happened to you but I think its time you stopped repeating it and move on from promoting the image that if a visiting fan goes to a Rangers game they WILL be assaulted.

ok, that's fine

as long as I know my other ID wasn't banned because I made a joke and it was only banned because of the multiple ID policy, then I understand.

This is actually the first time I've ever warned anyone to do that, and it is based on my experience two weeks ago. Things are changing. People are scarier everywhere and I know the kid with his dad next to me didn't feel safe. It is not an indictment of Rangers fans, but of the few bad eggs. All it takes is one to cause a problem and if you're with your kid?

I would recommend a Ranger fan be careful in Philly, too. Especially if there is a Phillies game across the street the same night. Now that Xfinity Live is there and people get completely toasted, the parking lots and the walk from the arena to the Subway is not really safe any more. (My nephew was nearly beaten to death after a Phils game a year ago at Xfinity Live. No beef with the guys, they just chose him because he was alone--on the way to meet his girl.) I think IN the arena is relatively safe if you aren't taunting or being a yahoo.

Just keep all Flyer trash off here and we'll be fine. Dudes gonna come on here and provoke people will get banned for "Breaking Eklunds code" and rely on alts. Keep the trash out.

Going to that area a lot I would tend to agree. Been to 5-6 games at Wells Fargo and its been fine. I would not go to Xfinity to watch one of the games there. Thats just asking for trouble. Keep in mind the Xfinity Live crowd even on a normal night are not my type of people. Normally in Philly I wear my Ranger poop constantly without any issues whatsoever.

Obviously that kind of behavior is inexcusable and like you said happens everywhere. It just came off as a little over-the-top in the flyers blog to recommend that someone go to the Rangers game incognito.

1 ground rule: You cannot pick the Rangers to win the cup. That way it makes it a bit challenging in terms of winners we all end up picking.

Obviously, I haven't posted as long as you guys but I haven't seen that many dbag Flyer fans, most have been cool.( I mean, there's Crims, but he's more like the mentally challenged kid on the street corner screaming random incomprehensible things.)

The last Flyer fan I had real issue with was that Killadelphia guy.

The guy who made a G a day putting up cabinets...he must have gotten a life time ban, or thankfully just disappeared, haven't seen him in over 3 yrs I would say.
