This offseason is a critical one for the Isles, and right out of the gate Snow's made his first mistake by retaining the coaching staff.

Not a good sign. Need a real NHL goaltender and a defenseman. If he can't go 2 out of 3, we're done next year as well. As it is, the coaching staff on this team has seriously failed and somehow gets another chance. Very disappointing.

Don’t think it really matters, Dan. No one’s job is at risk, so it's not of much consequence who takes the blame within the “circle of trust.” I’m sure they’re trotting out the injury nonsense rather than actually worrying about accountability.

Maybe that is Snows plan.....but who knows, new owner over the summer and it may not be Garth's decision.....he may be the one gone.....yeah forget it .....I know!!

I think cpt knows I'm ready for the worst with this team.

I was willing to be patient until they tanked yet again in november and not only did we not fire the coaching staff, we did absolutely nothing to address the positions that were killing us all year. Not one thing.

No top 4 defenseman, no NHL goaltender. Same coach.

This is the least excited I've been about this team in 35 years.

I gotta say, my faith in Snow lessens with each decision he makes and every word he utters. Just when I thought my faith in him can't get lower, it does.

Any guy who thinks this coaching staff is acceptable after the last four seasons has no business making these type of decisions. It makes me believe that Snow won't make the right call with the draft or in free agency either. Very tough to be excited for next season knowing Snow is still calling the shots. Hopefully Snow is under marching orders from Wang not to make any changes with an ownership change pending.
