We had better or its going to come back to haunt us in the playoffs. |

No. They can suspend for playoff games. He won't be though. Neal slashed Read's head and got nothing.
I expect Hartnell to get a fine. - PhillySportsGuy
To do anything thing that even borders suspension worthy in a meaningless game before the playoffs shows the mental capacity of a slug with brain damage |

I will take it. They got 3 bad goals, one fluky goal. They are playing back to back with absolutely nothing at stake. And yet they battled back time and again, showed pride for the fans. Moral victory and good mindset to go raring into MSG |

For now, but when the Devils lose their 48th consecutive shootout, they will be the worst. |

Hartnell and Neal deserve to play with each other in Florida |

Remember all the conversation about how tough it was going to be for the Flyers to make the playoffs? And all the conversation about firing the GM, and bringing in Hextall? Well the Flyers are in! Never had any doubts. Bring on the stinkin' Rangers. |

So how do you do it:
1. Complete day off Monday, hard practice Tuesday, light practice Wednesday
2. Hard practice Monday, complete day off Tueday, light practice Wednesday
3. Regular practices Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday |

I would go with # 1. Maybe do some video work on the Rags tomorrow. |

I hope they get one day off -- if they can find a way to get fresh legs, maybe it might help them steal Game 1
Sucks that the Rags are already resting, don't play today |

Winning game # 1 would be the most ideal. Breaks the losing streak at MSG, and gives them confidence for the series.
Losing game 1, and the season is on the line in game 2. |

Agreed -- the Rags are good, too. Wouldn't be ideal to drop both at MSG
I don't really put much stock into losing streaks like the one the Flyers have there -- I mean, really. Were any of those games back-to-backs for the Flyers when the Rags were rested, or 3-in-4s? Were there injuries? Were they slumping overall?
I'm not saying it's irrelevant, at all. I'm just saying that come Thursday, what happened on some December night in 2012 isn't going to factor into the outcome now.

Not sad. It's true. They have to get a split in the first 2 games, winning game 1 would be the preferred way. |

I understand what you are saying. They just have played miserably at MSG. Every game seems like a carbon copy of the previous one. |

It is amazing sometimes when we spend so much time thinking about things we have no control of. |

Hence the sadness. It's really all a waste of time. |
