At the end of the season last year Pegulla went on record to say the Sabres need to be bigger and tougher to play against, the latter related to the mental toughness and high compete level. In that regard, I could see the Sabres drafting Bennett first...a sort of Bobby Clarke type who will win at any cost and agitate along the way to get the oPposition of their game. Hey Gerbe's ... Give me your honest opinion on Reinhart's play in the playoffs since I haven't seen him play. Is he proving to be clutch? Is he dominating play. I would like to know how he appears in your eyes under high pressure situations in the playoffs?

Spot on...it is tough going through it but fun to watch the team develop. And cheers to Nolan for canning his entire staff...especially the conditioning coach....way too many injuries to be coincidence. Wonder what will become of Cunneyworth...he was to be the briDge between Bflo and Roch. Wonder if he joins Nolan's staff?

I sincerely doubt that. There have been some very bad teams playing since the lockout and before. This buffalo team is certainly in the mix, but to say they are without question the worth team is pushing it, especially when i doubt you watch any team like you watch the sabres.

You could make a pretty passionate argument for the sabres being that team, and i wouldn't necessarily disagree with you (hey, i've watched every game this season too) but i dunno. worst team ever? i'd have a hard time comfortably saying that.

I'll disagree on Larsson. On his a last callup I thought he was running his line well from a center position, getting under the skin of opponents and making smart defensive plays. He certainly wasn't imposing his will on teams, but to me I was seeing enough to make me envision him locking down our 3rd line C position.

Right now the roster would have a close game with the 1974-75 expansion Washington Captitals whom the Sabres beat 14-2 that year and they won 8 games all year.

I see larsson as a good 4th liner reminds me of paille. I can also see a lot of hect in the way he plays, that he has no hands and is a straight foward hockey player.

Yeah, I was thinking the harbor would be my best bet, especially if it's got people in it. I have a bike that tends to get noticed, so I get pretty uptight about locking it... But it's too nice out (and will suck next week) to pass up!

Boy I hope they can do better than Larsson as the 3rd line C in this rebuild.
While he has seemed more comfortable in his last call up...he is stout on his skates for his size but I see zero in the offensive zone...is he an nhler?...still too early to tell.
