They actually both said they'd sign up if he was. I have their applications in front of me right now.

Sure you can Cpt. Cannot quit now. Just think, if Cappy is back that means more Wolfpack members.

Nelson & Strome are going to be really good. I also like the play of Mayfield
- Vukota

Yes, Yes and Yes! I found it interesting that Vanek commented and said that Strome would be one of the best centers in the league soon.
Prior to Reinhart being drafted, Mayfield was the guy I considered as our best future dman. Now with him, Reinhart and Pulock (along with Pedan, Czurczmanzmanazman), we're going to be big and talented on that blue line.

Yeah...I meant to put "etc" in those parenthesis.....

The goalie is a MUST. I want a starter now...and I want a bluechipper prospect in that position for the future as well....

I bought into the whole rebuild thing. I was OK with Snow until last summer when he really dropped the ball. Even then I thought the Isles would be fighting for a playoff spot. All that's done now.

I bought into the rebuild as well. Hiring Cappy after Gordon was tough to overlook though among other things.

The team started playing better when Cappy was brought up. It didn't last long.

Did anyone expect Snow or Cappy would be fired? The only good thing about that is Tavares seems to like whats in place when he signed an extension on his contract however that was before they traded his buddy MM. Personally I think there needs to be a change with the coach. I also believe the players have to take responsibility. The fourth line which includes Macdonald Clutterbuck, Martin and Cizikas that was very effective and were a big reason we had a good season last yeay. They were absolutely non existent this year other than the last 2 weeks. Goalies well we all know how they performed. Bailey and Grabner sucked big time. They all had the same coach last year. People will say well it was a short season last year and that's why we made the playoffs. I watched those games last and they played WELL all four lines. You could talk about systems and say that's coaches job to get them motived ...baloney your a professional hockey player motivate yourself....those millions dollars a year should be enough motivation. That's why I think they will keep Cappy for next year but, on a short leash. Snow did drop the ball in not adding key players to build on the success last year. I believe he has realized this and will address those problems in the offseason or maybe im living in fantasy land.

I understood the first round of Cappy tenure. He was coaching the system the team wanted to roll with and was a logical choice to take over after a midseason firing. The team did their typical 'meaning less late season success' run which bought him a contract term. I wouldn't have extended him after last season. He's apparently buddies with Snow and in the circle of trust which apparently is like being a made man...unfortunately Cappy is Nikki and needs to be 'dealt with'.....

DeNiro (Snow): "Where's Cappy"
Wang : "He's gone...."
Snow: "What do you mean he's gone? He's...
Wang: "We did all we good do...he's gone..and that's it"
