I read a day or so ago he was still experiencing dizziness?

Apparently, he said he always felt that way and it's nothing new.

Panthers have gone from this:

Down to this:

I'll tell you what, based on that last game, that Panthers team has nothing to hang their heads about. They played their asses off in that game. The Flyers just outscored them. They didn't outplay them.

I think Trocheck is going to be a top-line center very soon.

According to the Penguins, yes. We'll see.

No, if they end up with the Penguins, they'd play the winner of NYR/CBS. Likewise, if they play NYR, they'll play the winner of Pit/CBS. The 1-2-3 seeds are locked in the conference semis bracket, along with the wildcard team that each division winner plays. You don't play the 1/2/3 seed of the other division until the Conference Finals.

ah, my mistake.

Bjustad is very promising also. And of course Huberdeau.

They do have a lot of young talent, but I think they're still years away from building a team that can legitimately compete. I see them as somewhere between Colorado (very young, but very solid) and Edmonton (very young, with holes galore), and they'll have to add quite a few more pieces.

I agree, but if I'm involved in running that team, I have to like the work ethic that team shows as a whole.

They look more like Edmonton right now... lot of fine young players, but there doesn't seem to be a take-the-reigns kind of guy among them, and the ceiling on many of their prospects is debatable.

And as long as Dale Tallon's at the helm, they're probably going to be busier collecting 'Hawks castoffs than putting the right pieces together to get to the PO's again.

I wonder if Mackinnon-Barkov will be like Kane-JVR where the #1 overall is great from his first season while the #2 takes a few years to really get going.

From what I saw last night, they're headed in the right direction.

I think in a few years when Barkov fills out, he's going to be a beast.

Since Nashville is eliminated from playoffs, do you think Shea Weber is thinking "Damn I wish Nashville didn't match that offer sheet"
