Out of camp? Neither will make it.

I could see getting Ghost a cup of tea though

EDIT: If Ghost signs he must play in either the NHL or the AHL no?

If Lecavalier can keep up his recent hot run and have a strong playoff, it could lead to Schenn being dealt for a natural winger or defense help.

Schenn could also still settle in as a winger, I just don;t think he'll work on a line with Vinny, because they tend to go to the same spots on the ice.

- Jsaquella

My honest feeling is that even if Schenn is dealt in the off season, for a defenseman. The Flyers are still going to try and trade Lecavalier.
Lecavalier and Schenn showed in the first quarter of the Season that could be effective together. Although I do think there is some merit to all 3 of the players that would be on that line, Lecavalier, Schenn, and Simmonds. Are all players who skate N/S to the net. And that line lacks a puck carrier to buy time and space as a compliment.

Durability is another issue. But then you have to look at the specific injuries that caused him to miss those games. But that doesn't change the fact that when Lecavalier is healthy, he is a good player still.
- MJL

I agree... I really like what he done playing on the 4th line lately. That line seems relevant now. They can score. Hall has played well with him, and last night McGinn did as well.

Lecavalier has made Hall into a player that is at least somewhat of an offensive threat now. Imagine what he could do with better players?

I thought his point was the debate is pointless if everyone agrees.

My point is that if everyone agrees, there is no debate. But that's boring.

I might be wrong about this but I believe they are different. A cup of tea is a beverage of hot water steeped in the leaves of the tea plant and while coffee is also beverage consisting of hot water, it differentiates itself by being brewed from ground coffee beans.

I hope that helps clear up the difference.

poll

will Morin and/or Ghost make the team next year?

- Crimsoninja

Yes, one if not both.

My prediction, Morin makes the team out of camp. Gostisbehere goes to the Phantoms. Moring gets a look and goes back to the Q and Gostisbehere is on the roster by mid November at the latest and excels.

I think Ghostibehere probably already has the puck handling and offensive game to play in the NHL. The question is going to be can he handle NHL forwards physically. Or at least hold his own.

It's his preference honestly. It's in the contract's fine print.

This.

I think he'll need some time in the AHL to get used to bigger bodies. I would be very surprised to see him get anything more than a preseason look with the Flyers next season.

And can he play with allergies, which we'll find out this weekend. (He has hay fever sniffles in springlike Philadelphia. )
