So you have Minnesota pulling the upset. Interesting. I think every series in the West will go at least 6 games. Very competitive.

I am not the biggest fan of inhaling chunks of oreos. And they aren't chocolately enough!

I know that I am definitely in the minority on this one lol.

I think the Flyers have 31 goals from their defense core. I think that is somewhere in the top half of teams in the NHL.
- PLindbergh31

Yeah I know. It is a big part of their offense, that has seemed to tailed off recently.

I think Minnesota could be the extra salt in the wound for Flyers fans this year. In the last few years with the Pens winning, Kane scoring the winner in 2010 and then seemingly every former Flyer ever winning the cup with LA in 2012. Bryz is on the Wild. He will no doubt win the cup and all of the negatrons will point out how we should have kept him.

This scenario will likely not play out but it seems as if the hockey gods have been hard on Flyers fans the last 6 years or so.

So just use the 8 games then. Tells the same story.
- MJL

That's fine. The only point I'm making is that you seemed to have picked a certain number of games without doing the digging to find out if he actually was playing center or not in the game. By the way, since you like to only talk about "facts", what facts are you using you determine which games qualified Vinny as "healthy" as you put it? Did you give him a full medical exam before every game?

Andy Delmore. Only rookie defenseman in NHL history with a play off hat trick. He also scored 20 with the Preds that one year. Shame he could not defend. He had a great shot.

I think we need to get our secondary scoring going (which happened last night) so we arent forced to rely on the Giroux line and powerplay. I think our powerplay has been a bit off these last few games. They have some goals but the product on the ice just seems a bit subpar at times. Getting that fixed for the playoffs is very important

That has been debated too much, but the reason it hasnt reached Vinny/Grossmann levels is that everyone here hates the shootout so there is no opposition to argue with. Its just people saying they dislike it, that it should be changed, and throwing out an idea. No controversy.
- FrmRusiaWifGlov

It's been debated multiple times. I find it boring, which is why I don't get involved in it, and just scroll on through it. And a debate is okay, as long as everyone agrees?

Hell, there are a boatload of guys in the League now who can't defend, and can't score. Delmore did have a great shot. Carle-like.

I thought the 2nd line showed some signs of life last night. If they can get it going, that would be huge. But if they can't, best way to get it going, would be to put Lecavalier back at 2nd line Center.

FTFY.

I found it amusing that Bryz ate all 3 Boston players in the shootout for dinner last night.

I agree it is boring and I also scroll through it. I wasnt saying "a debate is okay as long as everyone agrees," I was merely saying that it doesnt have the same controversiality as Grossmann or Vinny because everyone share the same opinion. Debates are what makes this site interesting and having two people stand by their opinions is fine. It's just the same debate day after day with the same points being rehashed is monotonous.
