Ya that makes no sense.
Unless you think Kadri is the team.....then you have bigger problems
- Fakepartofme

why doesnt that make sense?

because kadri is our best center?

we traded grabovski
signed a banged up bolland
holland is 3rd line max potential

and were goona move him for a prayer at improving this D? when we have oodles of D men waiting to come up in the next few years...yeah, ok, bigger problems...our biggest problem is a horrible system, our second biggest problem is the team making the playoffs once in 10 years in a short season and everyone thinking we should be insta contenders.

keep the plan, draft, build, draft, improve.

not trade our best draft in 10 years because hes not 70 pts with a guy like lupul who has been a shadow of his former self, and another winger in Clarkson or Kulemin who played on that line throughout the year who have about as much offense as Sjostrom.

but your right guys, trade kadri, trade gardiner and remove dion's C - then were instantly a cup contender.

- big_dion

actually i said move him for a centre, around his age. But whatever blows your hair back.

Trading a center for a center doesn't help. Doesn't fix the issues.

3 years older. wow. kadri is never where little was. Totally differnet players, or did you just look at the stats? Little plays 1st unit PK as well, a very responsible 2 way centre who can pot 25-30 goals and 60-70 points. Also, his 4.5ish salary is what kadri will get after next year.

So yeah, makes us better.

- clark_griswold

Ummm Little's first 3 years (IE Where KAdri is now)he played a total of 8:20 on the PK over 206 games (avg 0:04/game)

Kadri so far in his career has 19mins of PK time in 174 games (0:11/game)

So yeah..... KAdri is playing more PK mins and putting up better # than little did at the same time.

I like little (was bummed when he went right in front of the leafs and we took Tlusty) but I'd rather KAdri.

Wrong.
Our biggest problem is we have players who dont work hard.
I like Kadri....but he is one of our only good trading chips. If RC doesnt get fired, I could easily see Kadri being moved.

The D guys coming up in our system wont be top 3 dmen. If we are stuck with a crappy number 1 dman, then lets get a quality number 2 to play for the next several years, so that our young guys are able to learn from him. If our prospects have Dion to learn from....than this team really screwed.

RC has a good chance of staying and I would bet most of the team.

I've gotta guess that Kadri is gone if Carlyle stays - maybe even if RC is gone.
