Kids are freaking crazy today. I can't imagine my friends and I seeing one of us getting stabbed and not just jumping and beating the poop out of the kid with the knife. Maybe he stabs 1 or 2 more of us but that number never reaches 20. Sad world we live in today. Take your lumps and live to fight another day

That's a given most times. Like 99.9% of the time. Normally he's just picking times to knock the organization and when to praise them. Same day sometimes.

He's buddies with Yohe and Rossi too. So not sure how he got that. If he talks about the Steelers people plug their ears. If it's about the Penguins he's gospel.

Honestly, I think Madden was pretty accurate with his reporting on the Letang front. He still is experiencing dizzy spells, and he is returning with 3 games left to play.

Madden lacks couth and has an abrasive personality, but he is somewhat connected.

In his defense he also said he'd play the last 3 games. Madden keeps himself employed with his antics. People tune in. But if you rewind to the early 2000's he was the only media figure in Pittsburgh who cared about the Pens. Madden doesn't get attached to players it's all about the logo on the front. He's a slob and arrogant and out of line most of the time but you can't deny his passion and knowledge for hockey.

I don't see how this is possible. Unless he was given the go ahead by the doctors to make the call. Even then, if I'm the Penguins and I know that, I'm waiting.
