Not sure I agree...22 year old kid with a 30 goal season on his resume and a unique physical mix of skill, power & speed. Definitely needs to grow up a bit to maximize his potential, but I think a change of scenery could help him blossom.

Flyers can't hlep them there...some interesting UFAs, though...Hiller, Halak, Vokoun, Elliott.

Maybe they trade for Riemer.

Scheifele + Petan (and Little under contract for some years) probably doesn't make B Schenn strong bait for them.

Maybe but it would make them very deep at center, and give them at least 2 guys who can compete and grow into a 1st line center spot. I think BSchenn would still be attractive to them.

Thats not really something the Flyers can help them with.

I still think they need help at center. They have some young centers, but its not a position of strength by any means.

If the Flyers win tomorrow, they clinch a playoff spot.

Yes, but part of that return would have to be a guy who they're acquiring, whose value is based on potential, as well.

Brayden Schenn has to be the centerpiece, there's likely no way they want Vinny and I'd be against trading a winger like Voracek or Simmonds to get another winger, when the idea behind it is to clear room in the middle

Yeah, they need 2 points. That means that NJ and Toronto can't catch them, even if they win out, and the best the Caps can do is tie them at 91, with the Flyers owning the ROW tiebreaker

I just think the asking price will be very high.

I think its much more likely the Flyers pry a defenseman away from them. I don't see a team with weak forward depth trading their most gifted forward.
