I'd be unwilling to go more than 2 years with any over 35 guy

I'm really interested to see Kulikov play. I think there is a guy who needs a change of scenery.

I personally feel that anyone hoping that Holmgren is going to get canned, is in for a disappointment. Regardless of what happens this Season.

Making a move of BSchenn (+?) for Evander Kane makes a lot of sense. Kane is a natural winger, brings a bit more offensive touch than Schenn while also bringing the physicality that Schenn brings. Winnipeg needs centers and BSchenn would have an opportunity to grow into a major role there.

It just causes some Cap issues and might hamper the Flyers ability to upgrade the defense and replace Timonen.

What the hell kind of draft picks are we talking here? 2, 3 first rounders? Yikes

If it's an $8mm per OS, it's 4 first rounders

If they can do Brayden Schenn, plus get Winnipeg to take Grossmann or Luke Schenn and include a guy like Postma, without having to give up too much more, It's workable.

But Bryaden Schenn alone likely doesn't get Evander kane

26. Zac Rinaldo's situation in Philly reminds me of Ben Eager's in San Jose's. You may remember Eager took a major penalty against Vancouver in the 2011 Western Conference Final and the Canucks made the Sharks pay. Eager begged to go back into the lineup to make amends, but Todd McLellan wouldn't do it. He couldn't take the chance. Rinaldo can be a useful player, but is he at the point where the Flyers can't take the chance?

I think people see Kane as better than he's played. Theres no question he has talent, but he's the classic case of the grass being greener.

Scheifele + Petan (and Little under contract for some years) probably doesn't make B Schenn strong bait for them.

Not sure I agree...22 year old kid with a 30 goal season on his resume and a unique physical mix of skill, power & speed. Definitely needs to grow up a bit to maximize his potential, but I think a change of scenery could help him blossom.

Probably not even that. They could easily just sign a 3rd-line checking center to compliment their kids if necessary.

Their greatest need is in net... Pavelec is terrible and Comrie is some years away.

If the flyers had simmonds and got kane and resigned emery. Would that be like an NHL record for most black guys on a team? lol
