"I had a lot of speed going at him. I put my shoulder down, and as he shot the puck, my shoulder hit him clearly," Rinaldo said. "Proof is in the pudding right there. I shouldn't have done it. There's no need for it. We're up 4-0, but it's part of the game."

What about the superman move of leaving his feet with the flying elbow? |

Well he is right, head shots are still part of the game cause of players like him and the league's refusal to take a stronger stand to those who do it - TPC
Looked like an elbow to me. Still head shot though but my question is, is he saying bc it was his shoulder its ok? |

Clearly his feet leave the ice. His reputation isn't going to help him, thats for sure. |

So, with this week being the last week of fantasy.. can we not do a points league next year? This kinda sucked lol |
|
|
|
With St.Louis and Richards having a combined 9 pts in last 17 games, it just raises my curiosity over what happens this summer with both guys
Obviously the last summer for amnesty buyouts and they have to decide on what to do with that with Richards. Also, this will be the summer eligible for MSL's contract extension, which I assume they probably want to do before they get any more wind of the future salary cap raises.
That being said, seems like a game of double dutch. Which happens first. Does MSL extend with the Rangers if they amnesty his good buddy Richards? Does he just say no thanks and play the final year out then sail off back to Greenwich for good?
At the same time, do they pass on the amnesty of Richards to please MSL and anchor their wagon to both guys and put the franchise in a rough spot in a couple years if Richards doesnt improve and if MSL declines with so much money tied up in the two?
Now, this is a very premature question. They could both click and go off come playoff time. Just speculation. What would you guys do regarding both? |

I am fine witha points league, but it has to be head to head points. Not total points. To many people fell out of it early and just stopped playing |

Guess they have another answer, Fast just got recalled, he's been scoring at a decent clip of late, 13 points in his last 16 games |

I'm personally done with Richards. Richards has had plenty of time to prove his worth, and I venture to say he is not worth his contract, but if AV wants him he stays. Marty still has a year left, so I would give him next year to prove his worth, I refuse to believe he becomes a shadow of himself just by getting traded to the Rangers. |

Holy shyt, i was legit just going to say I wonder why Fast hasn't gotten another shot yet with the way he is playing
Fast is responsible defensively...I think he could be a spark on a 3rd line |

I would try anyone, except someone from that 4th line. The 4th line was playing well because that's where they should be playing. The only one I thought could be moved up was Moore, but they tried that too and it didn't look to good. |

And he isn't going to get scratched so out with Carcillo I would imagine. This way you keep that 4th line together. Where does he play? With Step or Richards? |

The Rangers have Haggerty on the roster. I know he's a rookie and the Rangers don't to pin their hopes on a young player with zero pro experience. But, they already did that exact same thing once with Chris Kreider. Signing Haggerty this early was essentially a waste. He's not playing and the team burns a year off of his deal. The whole thing is dumb if you ask me. |

They had to do it. Haggerty wasn't going to sign unless he was gauranteed a roster spot. I am fine with it, if he shows promise next year. |

MSL needs to play with faster players. I would put him on his line |

Ya, I can't help but think its another attempt at jump starting MSL. I hope they were smart enough to recall him first thing this morning so he gets to practice on time and has had a nice season in Hartford |

I'm not asking for the Rangers to give him top 6 minutes for the rest of the year. But he's here and he's that he has the ability to score goals in college. What's the harm if you give him a game. You lose a game you should have won. So what, the Rangers have already done that 3 times in terms last week and a half. Not mad at you TPC just confused on why they chose to sign the kid at all. |

He wouldn't have signed with the Rangers unless they did it this way. The benefit for Haggerty is that his ELC ends up shorter. |

No yea I understand, especially with the lack of a top 9 player. Giving him a chance these last 3 games couldn't be any worse then it is |

Anyone see the brawl, between the FDNY & NYPD hockey teams in a charity game?
http://deadspin.com/fdny-...nch-clearing-b-1559517529 - mdw7413
A few of my friends where at the game and sent me a video, the amazing part was it didnt flair up again after that big brawl.
Needless to say, cops and firefighters don't exactly love each other anyway. Im almost more surprised this doesn't happen every time they play |

Lines at practice: 61-21-26; 62-19-12; 67-16-36; 22-28-15/13, early observations are Richards can't keep up with those 2 and MSL isn't going to find chemistry unless he stays on 1 line but playing with Step and Nash is better than Richards and Boyle |

Boyle was actually probably perfect for Richard's wing...he can't keep up with anyone else lol |
