Btw, I don't need your (frank)ing attitude. I'm allowed to have an opinion.

Awe hell , if you think my neutral question based off what you said was attitude then I feel sorry for that.

I don't have a problem with a 5 min for that hit by rinaldo, but intent to injure?
- twotoekenn

My thinking also

What is this? High school??

kind of go hand-in-hand, imo

if it's bad enough to warrant a major, there was probably some intent to hurt the guy.

I guess in hindsight since playing guys like Rosehill and other schlubs on the 4th line would be nice to have Talbot back.

That trade didn't work out. Since the Flyers are winning, it's not against the rules to mention failed trades.

- PLindbergh31

I have no problem with the trade

Talbot will always be a penguin to me. I couldnt get past that

I really don't see much difference between that hit and orpiks on toews.

A lot of the same issues that hadn't worked against good defensive teams. Passing up glorious opportunities for low percentage chances. That recoil back into the defensive zone on the penalty kill. Bad penalties. It's masked because they are playing a minor league team. I'll take the win, but these things don't fly against playoff teams.

Btw, I don't need your (frank)ing attitude. I'm allowed to have an opinion.

He's a defensively responsible player, who pitches in some offense, and kills penalties. He's an intangible player.

Downie has been an undisciplined, injury prone, brain dead player who hasn't produced any offense.

Ok well I wouldn't go that far...

The reason Rinaldo's hit looked pretty ugly was because the Sabre was crouched a little bit. The fact that Rinaldo hit him in his head with- more or less- his hip makes it look pretty suspendable.

I think he could have held up on that too, at least a little bit.

I'd like to see him not get a suspension but I feel like it'll happen. Shame, because I've seen many worse hits that were not deemed suspension-worthy by Shanahan.

I'm looking at you James Neal.

Not true. Downie was a big catalyst in the Flyers turnaround. Their record with him and without him is staggering.

He has issues, for sure, but he's been a solid pick up

Yeah, I have no problem with getting Talbot's contract off the books. Raffl is already a better option then Talbot at this point in his career.

Maybe a little twisted, but I really wish Raffl was able to pot one instead.

Kid unfortunately has a bit of the Nodl hands in him. Has more skill than Nodl could ever hope for though.
- flyer_nutter

Totally reminds me of Nodl in that way..
