We need a great game this afternoon to regain confidence and avoid any panic over the back to back shutouts.

Is our magic number still 6 points or has that changed based on some of the games last night like CBJ's loss?

Go flyers!!

- FlyersFirst

both nj and toronto could get to 92 points by winning out. 6 pts gives the flyers 93. likely neither team wins out so probably not going to need 93 to get in but that number is a lock. i think they get there if they can get to 91 points

Pretty pathetic effort from the Caps last night. They're all but eliminated with that loss. They need to make up 4 points and 3 teams with 5 games left. They, also, have to win the 8th spot outright because of their limited number of ROW.

Hartnell:

SH: There was a fan in one of the cities we played in on the road with a poster-board sign that said "Hartnell Down" with a ticker on it. It was at about 145, and I had no idea what it meant. I kept racking my brain during warm-ups, wondering what it meant. Then a few weeks later we're on the road again, and I see the sign again but it said "Hartnell Down 171" and I was like "OK, it went up 30-something. And I still have no idea what it means. So I sent my trainer to go over to this guy and find out what it all meant. My trainer came back to me laughing and he said, "The guy watches every single game and counts how many times you fall." I couldn't believe it. I didn't think I fell that much! Next thing you know, my agent's wife suggested making T-shirts and giving the proceeds to charity. We ended up selling just short of 500 T-shirts. Once I tweeted there was a website for it, it took off.

A kid from Doylestown was taken by Erie in round 3 of the OHL draft, that's about it for now.

If London can't make it out of the 2nd round it's looking like an even worse suspension/decision by Stolarz. The difference between him and Patterson looks immense, good thing he won't lose his starting spot, not that it matters since he's probably in the AHL next year, but yeah not very smart. Let's hope he gets to play against the best competition in the memorial cup.

These are valuable games he's missing here.

London fell behind 4-0 last night with 2 SHG against on the same PP.

Then, they came all the way back to tie it.

Then, they blew it in the final 10 minutes.

Sounds Flyersesque.

I've been saying for a while i don't trust their D that much, even with Niki Z.

Yeah. I picked them to win the OHL before all the injuries to their D. I still think they may be able to escape this round and get Stolarz back.

i tried to watch that paint dry but i couldn't make myself tune in for more than 2 min at a time. that said, watching other teams play they seem not to have the 'little' problems that the flyers seem to have a lot of. the 'flow' or continuity of play just seems 'better' somehow?
