I am surprised how low the quality of this game is on both sides, esp. compared to the earlier games just days ago.

And there was a time when Coburn would have a nice blast from the half-walls. Nowadays, he does not even take a clear shot anymore.

I know they've had some pp time but Simmonds is on pace to play 23:40.

If Grossmann were to miss a game I think Gill gets his spot. Grossmann gets a lot of PK time and Gill is a similar type player.

Maybe. Having Mac could allow them to go with Gus though. Mac-Schenn, Timo-Coburn could be the PK pairings.

Not sure if it's accurate. Haven't heard it reported anywhere else.

Negativity and insanity. I do what I can to contribute.

Edit: Speaking of... I start my second last rotation, mental health in a couple weeks. Cant wait!

I think this game matters a lot for morale. Even though the Bruins have clinched, beating them on the road would really help the teams mindset moving forward.

Possibly but if one of those 4 takes a penalty you're forced to use Gus or Streit on the PK and thats scary. Heck, its not like losing Grossmann costs them any skill or mobility as well.

As slow and unskilled as Grossmann is, I still think Gill may be slower

You guys have been fine -- interesting game. Hope they can get a point or two out of it

You guys have pretty much covered everything I would've said. Glad they scored a couple

Absolutely! A 4 point weekend would just about guarantee a playoff spot.

Nonsense. The Flyers D is great in its skating speed and transition game. Teams fear it, and try to work them down low so they cant rush it up the ice Riders of Rohirrim style.

Ha! I probably will, but really, I don't have much to say today -- I am glad to see Razor hanging in there. Don't know what he wants to do, but I'm hoping we have these same goalies next year

I'd leave Rosehill in tomorrow, nothing like a scrap or 2 to get the boys going against a crappy team

In a sick way, I hope Mason has a weak game next time he plays (team still wins though), and we have a nice goaltender controversy.

You kidding... A decisive win over Thornton, a goal.... Holmgren drawing up the extension as we speak.

Honestly at 675k cap hit, Im fine with Rosehill in his role as spare forward/tough guy playing 20-30 games per year
