Kessel Lupul and JVR carry the team on their back. Again their problem is overpaying 3rd liners like Clarkson and lower level D like Phenouf 6 or 7 million dollar deals. Yeah they need centers too. Could easily get those instrad of paying Clarokson and phenouf

I honestly think we'll be ready to get 2/3 bottom 6/2nd pairing FAs and insert guys like Baptiste, Compher, and Fasching into the lineup after the McDavid draft. A team with Grigs, Girgs, Armia, Reinhart, McDavid, Compher, Baptiste, Fasching, Ennis (the only real core guy left on offense), and a couple FAs, and a defense of Myers, Risto, Zads, McCabe, Pysyk, etc. would be enough to start on the upward swing IMO. If we continually shuffle in high draft picks, chemistry will be tough to create. I'd rather have the prospects we have after the 2015 draft play and develop together than continue the tank and cause a log jam of sorts. I'm not saying we should go MTL flash rebuild style after 2015, just that we should ease up a bit, and start to play some decent hockey.

So, do the Leafs follow the Sabres model and blow up the team and rebuild? Will be more difficult for them they are stuck with Clarkson's no trade/movement contract and Dion Pheneuf's new long and expensive deal. I wouldn't want to be in their fan's shoes.

I'm watching the Final Four. They're doing this thing called "Teamcast" where they show the normal TV broadcast on TBS. And then on TNT, they're showing the game but with the Kentucky radio broadcast, and on TruTV they're showing it with the Wisconsin broadcast. The NHL should absolutely do something similar for the Cup Final on the NBC family of networks.

I mean we still don't know if the islanders are going to give us the pick. so lots of possibilities and we could still get a first round pick for for the Blues and we can get a first round pick for Christian too so many possibilities

If I lived in Canada and was a fan of one of the other 6 Canadian teams not from Toronto I'd get so pissed and sick of the slobbering love that the announcers on HNIC give the Leafs. You would think it was a funeral after they lost tonight.

Milbury, Pierre McGuire, East Coast bias, and constant technical difficulties/mistakes= AHL of broadcasting. They should be covering that league instead.
