I really hate doing this and this particular line up is a few years away but for fun I decided to put together a line up of what our lines could look like in 2 or so years.. Minus FA's or 2015 pick or Isles pick. I gave us Reinhart because it was too tempting.. This just being prospects and young guys it shows we obviously have the depth.. I think if the guys on here max out at their potential this could be a really solid line up. Again this was just for fun.

Ennis Reinhart Grigorenko
Fashing Girgensons Armia
Larsson Compher Baptiste
Deslauriers Flynn Varone

Possibly throw in Hodgson or Foligino as well

Myers Ristolainen
Zadorov McCabe
Pysyk Ehrhoff or
Ruhwedel

I think we will either trade or sign or maybe even draft a top line winger in a year or so, so obviously this is subject to change but pretty much the entire offense line up is new in this scenario which lets be honest is probably a good thing..

Girgensons should ideally be on the third line. Plus I hope we have more veteran players than that 3 years from now. Flynn and Varone are plugs they probably wont be here

Considering that the behind closed doors meeting to figure out who the nhl wants to get the first pick takes place in 11 days, the chances that it changes this year are probably pretty minimal.

this was just a prediction based on what we all ready have plus Reinhart. Like I said I'm sure we have some vets in here but I'm not in the business of predicting that.. I think Flynn or Varone could be decent 4th line options they fit the role nice.

One of the most idiotic proposals I've seen

http://www.thehockeynews....yout-candidates-for-2014/

Top 5 Buyout candidates

5. Tyler Myers, D, Buffalo Sabres
(Five years left, $5.5-million cap hit)
Am I contradicting my own criteria? It’s controversial pick, as some teams may be willing to explore a trade for him, but the cap hit and term, not to mention Myers’ no-trade clause that kicks in for 2016-17, would make it tough for Buffalo to find a dance partner. The Sabres don’t need Myers for their future, as they have Rasmus Ristolainen, Nikita Zadorov and Jake McCabe to build around, not to mention Christian Ehrhoff signed at a reasonable price until the end of time. Myers is the anti-Dennis Green player, in that he just isn’t who we thought he was after that Calder Trophy campaign in 2009-10.

Richards is most likely getting bought out. He's back to being not producing after his got start. I can't imagine they keep a 35 year old 50 point player for that money

Funny part is that his contract isn't even bad for a top 4 defensemen. Just wait and see what Matt Niskanen gets
