I don't know what's funnier, the idea that Bylsma is going anywhere, or the idea that Megna is "highly skilled." I like Megna, but speed, size, and the courage to play full-tilt are his assets, certainly not his skill.

He, is a guy that I would love to have. Never thought of him. All I usually see are the typical recycled names.

always enjoy Tocchet. A must follow on Twitter for some good hockey viewpoints.

Would also love to see Billy Guerin make his way behind the bench as an assistant coach one day. probably liking his current gig though.

I will bet anyone here any amount of money they want that this team doesn't have a different coach this season.

Any takers?

Sid should have shot that. Hell, he has a 30% shooting percentage against Pavelec.

Waited a bit too long. Not a bad idea but Pavelec didn't have a clue what to expect.

People call him a very good coach, but he got canned for leading an under achieving Philly team. Ask Flyer fans - they have many of the same gripes as we have with Bylsma.

He's got more series wins since 2009 than Dan. Players, for whatever reason, tire of the same message. He sure as hell coached circles around Dan 2 years ago.

I like the Tocchet suggestion, maybe add him as an assistant. Not sure he has enough experience as a head coach.

RT is one of my all time favorite players.

He certainly would show emotion and we wouldn't be as soft.

I still have a Pens jersey with Tocchet on the back. Bring it out of retirement.

Interesting. Whistles go away a bit more in the postseason but you'd like to see a better rate of success when given those opportunities.

@JoshYohe_Trib: Pens have drawn one penalty tonight. Average 4.1 PPs per game against playoff teams, 2.8 against non playoff teams.

This is the most subdued Pens v Jets game. These games are 6-5 right now.
