Coach does not like Despres for whatever reason. but if thats the case and you had no intention of dressing him, you should have traded him. |

Who gets sent down to make room for Martin? I'd guess Despres... you don't need 8 defensemen. Or maybe Malkin goes on IR for the short term? |

Who doesn't like to cuddle up with a porcupine or a skunk to watch a flick on a quiet night? - canadianpenfan
Skunks apparently make good pets. Fairly intelligent and trainable--they use a litter box. They also remove the scent gland when they are young. I only learned this after one of those 2 hr+ youtube marathon sessions where at the end you ask yourself "how did i end up here?" |

I've always wanted a skunk as a pet... Just imagine the reaction if you had company over, and a skunk walked through the living room |

Paulie Paulie Paulie Paulie. And the criticism of the blog topic is f'd up. If the team can't find a reason to play because the games are meaningless wtf is he supposed to blog about. I think pointing out how DB refuses to optimize his line up night in and night out is relevant. |

Yes he is practicing in full, has been for awhile. No indication when or if he's coming back to the best of my knowledge, but I expect that he will before the playoffs. |

I am unable to do that at this time. On a worldly note did anyone see the Russian represenative who said the Americans should do some yoga and relax That's why I could never hold office I'd blow some poop up for that |

Finally! An off topic day that doesn't address a legal hit or how poopty the bottom six is. Bring on the gifs!!!! |

All those numbers are great...but I'd rather see the records when each is in the line-up and the GF/GA during those games a well.

I dont think we can breach that subject until we have thoroughly discussed Orpik's hit on Towes. - thickman1178
hah Yeah that one kept me away from the site for a few days. Can't stand discussions that goes in circles. |

Duly noted and seconded. Still, good news that Martin is back. What we'll get from him is to be seen because of the time off but that at least changes some things with the pairings. Should be back with Orpik.
As far as Bylsma and the playing young guys in key spots permanently thing...it's just not going to happen consistently until Shero makes it that way. I don't know if he's going to do that. |

Not for a puck, and that's all that matters if you ask me. You think that fighting skill is useful in the playoffs? If it is what's the difference if he plays 4th line minutes now and then too instead of in defense?
It can't be said enough apparently that Despres should be playing. If you see a fight it's going to be for a bad reason and I want no part of it. In the playoffs that's just not something we need to be looking at. |

I don't think Depres would beat him in a fight for the puck actually, but now that Martin is back neither will be playing, and this organization has no plans of developing Despres. My guess is he did something to really piss them off, and we couldn't trade him because of injuries at the deadline..........I think a good old fashion bru ha might be good for the pens actually. |

I'd be okay with Pyatt being benched and Eng playing on 4th line. |
