Stupid reality. Get married bro, you never have to cook again. There are so.e downsides... But that's a great upside!

He's a healthy scratch in Toronto.

Julien mixes and matches every game. Meszaros will be in the lineup Saturday.. Bank on it.

That 1st PP unit and 1st line has been winning them game after game, for this hot stretch they have been on recently. They cant keep it going for forever.

The secondary scoring needs to pick up, and in particular that second PP unit.

LOL speaking of 'shocking'.
- Pixote Andolini

Shocking? Or jealous

But seriously, being able to focus while standing on an unfinished bridge checking over hang jacks put in place by people who don't speak English is crucial.

No room for ADHD on a bridge

The first unit usually does a good job setting up and producing some good scoring chances. Once they leave the ice, there is zero cohesion amongst the second unit.
- PLindbergh31

they do, but lately they've been really off. usually lose the first draw and then it's all downhill after that.

Damn right, and an easy way to "impress" them. Can get a little messy too if you do it together

Speaking of, are you actually Czech? We have another Flyers guy here that pops from time to time.
- flyer_nutter

I'm something from over there. Since the split in 89' I'm not sure which I'd be from.

How many of there are us on here? I've met a few guys down here from the homeland, but they were pretty big dbags.

Yep. Lecavalier has done a nice job since moving to the 4th line creating offense, but you can't expect that to continue based on his linemates.

The 5x5 play has to improve too.

Definitely. If Couturier and bSchenn are those 2nd and 3rd line centers, they are supposed to initiate more offense. I understand the youth, and Coots going up against really tough matchups, but to be successful long term that will need to happen.

Have to contribute in actual goals, not just close chances. Line 2 and 3 need to get it going 5 on 5 with some actual production.

Hopefully they get it done.

Need to simplify the game and go north/south. Now that we're in April there's almost never any open 'trailers' or lost checks. Have to keep skating. 2nd and 3rd efforts help too.

Its a risk we all know is there, young kids run hot and cold, and I don't think bSchenn/Coots have that kind of offensive flare a guy like MacKinnon can provide simply by entering the league.

They are taking a slower approach to develop that offensive game which is alright.

The hope I guess was to have LeCavalier bridge that gap but he hasn't gotten it done post back injury. Kind of a sticky situation, simply have to hope one of those 3 guys (LeCavalier, Coots, BSchenn) finds more of that offensive game. Cant just be G.
