they need to play top physical teams that bring an emotional edge to the game otherwise they seem to get drawn into a boring snooze fest that cramps their style. they become terrible in the puck possession game because they are trying to be to fancy and make terrible decisions with the biscuit.

The first unit usually does a good job setting up and producing some good scoring chances. Once they leave the ice, there is zero cohesion amongst the second unit.
