I actually agree nothing should have been done after Burrows left the ice. What last night reminded me of was Gaborik getting pummeled by Carcillo & Girardi standing there watching. I look at it this way, if I am on the ice when that happened, and saw my best player lying on the ice on a cheap hit with 40 seconds left, I am not challenging anyone, I am going to drop the gloves and start pounding Burrows. I just hate seeing our best player lying on the ice & our team standing around.

I know, I don't think we are that far apart on our opinions, just doesn't come across that way sometimes.

I guess this is good news? I hate the indefinitely word though, too vague.

Honestly, I'm okay with that... No structural damage or separation is a great thing.. probably means they will be resting him a bit until the playoffs is all... i hope

Yea & like we were saying, with Moore ready to come back, keep Diaz in the lineup & there's our top 6 D.

You know, I come in here with an open mind, start having a civil conversation with some good back-and-forth, and then you gotta come in here being a douchebag and try to start something. Way to troll your own thread.
- jmatchett383

I'm not in such a good mood today, you can understand why and I'm not in the right frame of mind to determine civil from trolling, sorry but as soon as I see a another fan base I'm siding with troll

Plus, he's still traveling with the team. That's a good sign right there.

To me, that says: No damage but he's in a poop load of pain and get move his shoulder much. Once it feels good and loose he will play. I think he sits out 2 games.

Going back to the Cooke elbow in his rookie year Mac has showed tremendous guts getting up & playing through injuries. Guy is cyborg like, besides Hank there is NO other Ranger we can afford to lose for any period of time.

It's whatever, doesn't affect me. I just like to visit other teams' forums from time to time and engage in some rational, unbiased conversation. I try to be as respectful as I can, so I was just wondering why you needed to come out and try to start something. But hey, no biggie.

Thats good news about Mac. Sounds like he has a bruised shoulder which I would imagine limit his range of motion for a week or two. They are so close to clinching, and here is where that depth comes in, Staal-DG, Klein-Stralman, Diaz-Moore. Not great but not bad and sure as hell beats (sorry Jimbo), Roman Hamrlik!!

All things considered it sounds like we dodged a major bullet.

Maybe you can call it that, but I am just saying that you don't fight battles on terms you can't win. If bad guy X beats up one of your friends, and there is no way you can take bad guy X in a straight up fist fight, it is not a deterrent to bad guy x to stop engaging in the same actions by getting into a straight up fight with him. It would, however, be a deterrent to hit bad guy X (or one his friends) in the back of a leg with a 2X4 when he isn't looking.

I am just speaking of the most effective ways to deter, IMO, which engaging is some useless fight is not.

Posted it in the last thread but someone should toss up the gif of Cindy from last night getting absolutely destroyed (sarcasm) by the ref and diving to the ice. I hope he's OK

I don't disagree, coming from you, probably along with Glen the most rational of posters struck me as odd. Then again, you're explanation of how to exact revenge was rational in its own right.

I think both Semifinals and the Final are on, believe it or not, ESPN.
