We cant trade all the kids but we can fire Eakins. Any coach would be better next year. Name one up side to having Eakins behind the bench next year? I know its not the powerplay

I agree but there might be some positives to take in next year like Winnipeg with Maurice. Winnipeg will be in the playoffs next year I bet and we will be happy with 25th.

The only upside is consistency and the message it sends these (frank)s when they underachieve ." It's okay, it was the coaches fault".

I think you are taking that a bit to serious. I believe that probably 50%(or more) of coaches would say something in that situation.

Everyone agrees that Eakins sucks, but you are kidding yourself if you think this team has any redeeming qualities without him.
