Heard rumors about Corry perry back in the day, heard they were wanting to give him is but we wanted some other bum( maybe lupul) but I can't remember exactly. Makes me sad to even think we could have had him.

I disagree.

First, the Bruins got Smith (their leading goal scorer), Eriksson (excellent 2-way winger in a down year), and Morrow (quality D prospect) in exchange for a guy that wasn't going to break their top-2 C threshold and a guy they could replace (Peverley). I stand by my belief that that deal was nothing but a boon for both teams involved.

Regarding Seguin having proven more, I would agree that he's proven more, but more so due to the teams he's played on than off his own merits. Playing on great (Boston) and middling (Dallas) teams likely make a huge difference while Hall has been stuck playing on a garbage team with a lot of garbage (specifically the blueline).

Oilers game is depressing lol I cant believe St Louis hasn't scored tonight. Seems every time a team is having a problem not scoring PP goals or a guy is snake biting they seem to score.

He is terrible tonight and didn't play very good against the Kings. Cant win every game. Not knocking him though just proven he is human which I didn't believe after all those games he won for us.

Haha no worries. I actually saw the box score from Boston's game earlier today and "burger-on" got his 26th or 27th. Iggy is up there too, maybe Marchand, etc.

One way or another the trade fell through. At the time Comrie was pretty damn good, looked like a solid top line player and Perry was still a freshly picked prospect. Was not a no brained for either club. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.
