I totally understand but like I said, MacT will TRY to find guys, but they simy just won't want to come to EDM most likely - OilerFan16
Meh...I think Mac T will have to. No doubt he reigns all the key RFA's, but If we start the season with :
Hall RNH Ebs
Perron Gags Yak
Lander Gordon Hendricks
Joensuu/Gazdic Arco Pitlick
Petry Marincin
Ferrence Schultz
Klefbom Gernat
Scirvens
Fasth
....I will do something that I would normally prefer not to.

I like the New Jersey deal best, I suppose. I also think that moving Gagner for an upgrade somewhere would be ideal as well.

I don't think the Eberle trades make sense given the team.
Having gagner be a 3rd line RW seems very counter productive and I would rather trade him than have him there.
The best trade you mentioned is the Florida one, but I'm not sure that one would get done.
Assuming Mitchell is Willie Mitchell Id hold off on him. He may look like a good defenseman on LA but I'd see the regression to the same extent if not more than ferrence this year.
Also marincin plays on the left side

I see what your trying but IMO Erhorff is the only guy of the three who should be a top pairing guy

All fair points of opinion. However, I disagree with you.
Gagner as a 3RW gives him fairly easy competition and he's getting played with two defensively responsible guys. Ideally, we can move him for someone cheaper and bigger (say Colin Wilson?), but I only wanted to include one trade in this roster.
Mitchell, while he is aging, is still as defensively solid of an option as you'll find in FA this year. While I don't doubt there'll be regression, my plan was for him to be signed to a fairly short term deal (1 to 2 years at 3.5 to 4.5 million). He's big, great along the boards, has Cup experience, has a running feud with Kesler (always a plus in my books), and has solid puckmoving instincts.
I've gotta say I think the best deal I proposed was the NJ one, but I'm guessing you value youth more than I do so I'll leave that point to personal preference.
Lastly, I didn't mean that depth chart indefinite. I'd definitely rather Ference be playing the right side. Just a misunderstanding there! |

When he was playing consistently with the big club, my guess was that Arco would get somewhere between 1.25 and 1.7 million on a one-way deal. Since he went down and didn't come back I was pretty sure he was going to walk.
Should be interesting to see the number. |

In the real world, I suppose Mac T's job may be on the line if he traded Eberle.
I think the deal would have to serve 2 purposes in sedating the fan base and improving the team. So some star power might have to come back.
Shea Weber and Patric Hornqvist for Jordan Eberle, Oscar Klefbom ,Roman Horak, 2014 1st, 2015 1st
or
Zach Bogosian and Eric Tangradi for Jordan Eberle
or
Brian Campbell, 2014 1st for Jordan Eberle and Mitch Moroz |

Gregor suggest two year $2.4m-$2.6m per for schultz. He doesn't deserve more than subban's bridge contract. |

If he does get more (even if just slightly more), it would only be because of Salary Cap diferrences. Subban signed his when the cap was pretty low. If the cap raises enough this offseason, I could see Schultz MAYBE getting $3 million, but no more than that. |

Schultz has to see that a bridge contract does him a favour right now. If I'm Schultz and the Oil offer 2.4 per for 2 years or 3.75 for 6 years, I know what I take. |
