I agree. I thought the article was correct to that's why I said good article. Guess I should have said good point. I don't care who they trade as long as we get better. Think along the lines of the Seguin trade. Get three quality players for one elite like say Hall. Who is the three players coming back though is the question. Buff Ladd and a D prospect. I know we would have to give more than just Hall but its just an example.

Something big will happen to the Oilers franchise this summer. Might be good/bad but its got to happen.

This team has motivational issues. It may be feasible for Eakins to burn the time out to get his team going. I say "his" team, but at this point I not sure if they are or ever were his team.

I don't know if anyone cares if Smyth ever gets the record just another useless stat. The guys that own the records actually brought some joy to the fans; I am pretty sure this haphazard bunch could all be replaced in the fans hearts at this point with anybody that just played both ways for 60 minutes a game.

Glad to see they are going on the road because I think the fans have had their fill for awhile. The one goal this team needs to address is to start honoring the fans with some wins at home because for four years they have made a mockery of the fans.

This is what should have happened before this season started. Fire Lowe replace with anyone else. Hire Burke for GM and MacT coach. Wouldn't be in the playoffs but would be trending upwards I guarantee and people wouldn't be asking for a fire sale.

Anderson was the king of crashing the net. Hard nosed player. Never gave up awesome Oiler. True fans will always be fans it is hard to make new ones though with this 8 year debacle. I remember when Hall was drafted and having real belief in this team. That's fading fast

MacT has done good in my books but would have helped this team more behind the bench. Eakins has had his chance. If the team doesn't believe in him or his techniques either way I don't seeing it change next year. Could be wrong but there is no positive in starting next season with him but MacTs pride.
