I agree I like the way the lines look. That's score lines that can score.

Akeson would have to prove to me that he's an NHL player. I think if he was a player the Flyers thought could play a second line role, he would have gotten at least a call up by now. A player has to be able to do other things such as check, play physical along the wall, and not be a defensive liability out there. And if he's not going to bring any other attributes to the lineup, then he better be a dam good offensive point producer at the NHL level. And I have serious doubts about Akeson as far as that is concerned.

give him another 3 or 4 minutes of ice time and you'll exponentially increase the chances of seeing the Bad Rinaldo.

He gets exposed with more minutes because he simply isn't a good possession player, and it's hard for him to charge at 110% with more minutes. Effective Rinaldo is one with limited minutes with wound up energy

Rinaldo's CF% today was 80% and his CF%Rel today was +26.4%. Does that mean that they were a good possession line today? No it means that Lecavalier had a bunch of shots on goal.
