It did dive, like a sinker pitch...I just couldn't tell if it was after Rask touched it, or it got deflected up top.

Did you see the angle from behind Rask's net up high? Somewhere in that area... It really looked like there were 6 or 7 guys fully on the ice - not up against the boards or in the door - when Mesz was already in the O zone. I'd need to see it again to be sure.

Have to look for replay.

No there was only 5 guys on the ice for Boston. In fact when the goal was scored, there were only 4 Bruins in the Flyers offensive zone. Meszaros came off the bench on a good change. And another Bruin was changing behind the play when the goal was scored.

I think the Lecavalier shot was tipped somewhat and it dipped down as it went, and it had a lot on it.

Just watched a replay of the Meszaros goal. Don't see any reason why it would be too many men on the ice to Boston.

- MJL

it wasn't too many men, not sure where all that was coming from

Yeah, unless I can find that far angle view again, I'm going to have to agree...doesn't look like too many men.

I'd attribute his increased performance to playing Center. Instead of LW. And it matters because the 2nd line is not producing at the level it needs to, if the Flyers are going to make a run. And I think that Lecavalier can change that if he centers the 2nd line.

The first goal he was playing the Center position, and it was from the slot in front of the net. And the tying goal was from around the net on the right side of the ice, which in his entire career, is where he scored most of his goals from, while playing Center

I would not be opposed to experimenting....

say, swap VL and schenn. Put schenn on the 4th and see if that gets his intensity back. He's been 'off' for a while - especially handling the puck. I'm not so sure he's 2nd line stuff even at the wing right now... doesn't mean I don't think he ever will be 2nd line material, just that now he is not imo.

nah man, on that replay between periods it looked like a shiesty line change by the Bs there to me too

at least 2 guys leaving the bench before the other guys were off

I wouldn't put Schenn on the 4th line. I'd move him to 2nd line Wing.

I really don't care what line you call it, but Vinnie and BSchenn should both play center.

Berube is going to roll whichever line is working and change the lines around according the game situation.

Put Vinnie with Raffl and Rinaldo, call it line 2C, whatever, who cares

there was a different view shown from the long angle, shot from a camera down at the bruins end that shows what looked like two many men

you can't see it from that angle

In his last 25 games Brayden has 5 goals, 4 assists, and is minus 4. Not really the stuff I'm looking for on the 2nd line. he need to find his game again.

The replay on the Flyers website has that angle. It was not too many men. The changes were all good changes. There were only 4 Bruins in the O zone when the goal was scored.
