This is their MO though. Win the games they shouldn't, lose the games they should win.

Is the game expected to be a heavy hitting game with blood being spilled? Game winds up being a love fest all over the ice with a bunch of hippies.

They need to be the under dog. They need to be trailing in a game. They need all of that to get motivated enough to play lights out. It's really bizarre.

probably the sport in which effort is the most important. a decent team playing really hard can knock off a bunch of top teams in a stretch (where have i seen that recently??) and a team with a bunch of talent that mails it in will get trampled
