Well I mean he's still a smart player. Putting him out there against other 4th liners makes him the best forward on the ice, and if he has a chance to control the game like that, he could definitely do some damage

I'll say this: I don't love how they're playing right now

The Leafs are really susceptible to a hard, gritty, grinding game down low and along the boards

Yes, they'll let you have the zone too easily and yes, it becomes really easy to want to trade chances with them, but you don't want to trade chances with this team because they lull you into run-and-gun
