That nickel mine didn't spring up when they started making the Prius, look into to it a little. That's such an internet fable.

I love my Prius. It saves me so much money it's ridiculous. I put a quarter million miles on my last one. She was a beauty.

I need incandescent bulbs so that when the nuts are willing to pay $40 a piece for them I can make serious cash.

Theres nothing wrong with a Prius. It drives just like any other smaller to mid size sedan. If it's the whole "I'm being green so I'm better than you" line of thinking that gets your goat I can assure you that is not true of most of the people driving them these days( those guys all moved to plug ins and judge Prius owners ). The things save an absolute poop ton of money on gas in the long run. If you aren't drag racing your car or driving 90mph to work everyday there really isn't much reason to knock 'em. Plenty happy with mine. Just think of all the extra money you'll have saved on gas that you can buy steak and fine whiskey with.

Factually, that mine has been in use since the 1800s. Most of the environmental impact occurred in the first 200 yrs of operation. By the time Toyota began buyng nickel from them five years ago the plant's emissions had been reduced to less than 3% of what it had been in the 70s.

Even given that, Toyota buys less than 1% of the nickel produced in Sudbury annually. The study everyone on the internet loves about the Prius and the Hummer is so slanted it's ridiculous mostly based on assumptions by the people doing the study that have been completely/factually refuted.
