But I said it earlier. IMO, it boils down to this:

1. The second line can not be allowed to hurt this team
2. They cannot lose in regulation tonight
3. Vinny hasn't played well -- and I do believe his injuries have played a role in that

Would I have done it? Maybe not. Would it have happened if they hadn't gotten worked on Wednesday? Probably not.

That's fine, but just simply giving a shooting percentage stat, doesn't make that case. All that has to be done is watch the video, which clearly shows that he was an effective player before the injury.

Nobody would even be talking about SH% if a certain someone didn't keep trotting out "on pace for 33-goals" as their main defense of the player.
