Or, why the hell isn't Raffl moved up to Couturier's line? I mean if Downie goes down, I would rather move Raffl to the 3rd line and put Vandevelde on a seldom used 4th line. I know you dont like the idea of a limited minutes 4th line, but you have to do what you have to do to win these games.

And as much as Schenn, Vinny, and Simmonds are great players in themselves, they are way too slow to be on the same line. If we are going to be playing the rangers in the first round of hte playoffs, then we need to do something about them being able to zero in on that top line and shut them down, and use the second line's lack of speed against them.

Only positive thing out of last night was Couturier's line being about to keep Nash off the scoreboard.

But the Rangers know, Shutdown Giroux line, use speed against Vinnys line, and dont take any penalities and the game is theirs because Lundquist will our 5 on 5 Mason 6 days a week.

I think they need to jumble up the top 2 lines. Do it now so they can develop chemistry for the playoffs cause the rangers know how to shut the top 2 lines down offensively.

Last night was an extremely frustrating game to watch.



I agree, and they better be up for the Leafs on Friday because they are getting bashed BIG time by the media for " being too soft" and falling out of playoff race. They will come out hard. I live in Toronto and I can't stand it when the Flyers lose to them. Giroux has to come out and play like he is possessed. Phaneuf is getting roasted in Toronto for his lack of leadership and toughness. Flyers have to score early.... And hopefully often!

IMO Putting Hartnell and Vinny on the same line will result in the same issue, that line being too slow.

All kidding aside- probably one of the best cities I've ever been to if you're not concerned about being on the internet all day because they do block almost everything.

But that is one helluva fun place to visit and party in. I'll be going back for sure.
