It has gotten tough. All I can do is think of how behind I am elsewhere and how I could better spend my time. Not a good feeling.

Not winning, knowing we're outclassed far too often and now realizing the additional need for upcoming Spring chores makes it seem worse. Also, compressed seasons (two in a row now) add to that malaise.

I've actually skipped a couple of games this year because I just didn't have the energy to attend. Next year's season tickets are paid for, but if there's another year like this one I'm going to start putting my STH money towards vacations instead. Those I enjoy.

Curious as to what kind of game we'll see. I mostly enjoyed Tuesday's game vs the Avs. At least it was entertaining. Hopefully these two teams will make it worth our trip down tonight. No offense to your Sabres but Preds really need to win one at home.

I hope you guys win...

Is this "Tank for Higher Draft Pick" sentiment? Ha!

In normal times when you're at the rink I'm guessing you cheer for Preds unless they are playing your Sabres.

Yes it is... And we will suck again next year (McDavid/Eichel)

And yes you are correct, I cheer for Preds when they are not playing Buffalo.

I've been to over 20 games this year, all for free.
Veteran/disabled deal.

This year we will pick #1 or #2... So Reinhart, Ekblad or Bennet...
I don't think the Isle give us their pick this year, although they seem to be pretty foolish over there...

Cool on the "free" games but it's clear that you more than paid for them. Thanks.

I think the Preds need to schmooze with the Isles. Santa Claus.

I agree with everyone's sentiment that it has become a chore to attend Preds games. The part I hate is watching the opposing teams fans celebrate a win after the game in our barn which is now the norm. I can't even remember the last time we won at home. That might have been the Tampa Bay game last month......

Update: Preds won last night. While the game was fun, and seeing Jarnkrok/Sissons get their first goals was fantastic, I'm starting to worry that this team will win just enough down the stretch to save Trotz's job.

Amazingly, Trotz was asked about Jarnkrok getting points in his first five games and all he could say was how detailed his defensive game was. That basically sums up why we need to get a new coach.

I hope the ownership group is reading. Can you imagine the season ticket holder base if they do keep Trotz on? I for one have renewed for next season, but if style of play, winning at home, playoffs are not in the works, then that is my last.

Trotz needs to go to Vancouver! I'm more worried about the stupid money DP is going to throw at Spaling
