I would not mind the loss so much, or even the fact that it was against the Rangers. What worries me is that these losses: against Devils, Rangers, Kings - are pretty similar. Swarming forecheck, block shooting lanes, win most battles along the board.

And it just seems like Flyers are always punch drunk and just cannot respond.

Would Simmonds and Hartnell been so courageous if they we're winning, probably not

yeah those guys really shy away from the physical stuff......

He slashed McDonagh and it was dirty as shyt but what else is new from Philly when they're losing in the final seconds, Hartnell is very courageous as well

I didn't see Girardi drop his gloves ? ....his slashing and cross check was just as bad....and he got what he deserved.....toughen up pumpkin.

Rangers are a good team ... even though many of us don't want to admit it.


but, yeah, overall this effort against a divisional opponent was VERY disappointing.

We all know that if the flyersbrought their game tonight, this is a different ending. Rangers didn't look all that good. Flyers were skating slow and making bad decisions. And they weren't crashing the goal line like usual.

Rangers obliterate the flyers tonight. They should just move the franchise already we will be living on mars before philadelphia even gets a sniff of the cup again. This loss had holmgren's fingerprints all over it. I should also mention I don't care about the 5 games they just won in a row

yeah, the Flyers didn't play their best ... but you gotta give credit to the Rangers as well. They played solid hockey ... and kept their aggressive forecheck going almost the entire game.
