Goddammit. Caps up 3-1. Seems like this kuznetsov kid has kicked that team in the ass. They are alive
- Just5

Don't worry, Kings will win 8-3. They will score 7 goals in the third period. All 7 at ES during Ovechkin's shifts.

The Flyers were quoted earlier this year as saying Backstrom was the key to shutting down the Caps.
- PhillySportsGuy

He is a player that needs to be watched, most certainly. I won't argue that. Ovechkin and Backstrom are both extremely talented.

When the Flyers take the Rangers to the woodshed tomorrow, the Caps will just be closer to a first-round match-up with Philadelphia. Would be the optimal situation, in my opinion.
- BoomGoesTheCoburn

Their pp scares the crap outta me. And I'm tired of the caps. I want beat rangers in the playoffs very badly

They will all be scored while Ovechkin is on the other side of the ice waiting to tee up a one timer from the circle.

Matchup wise, the Caps are the team I want. But, we haven't seen a Flyers/Rangers series since '97, and I would LOVE to see the Orange and Black send CSP to the golf course.

Hahah. I personally love it! Leafs are toast. Sucks that the kings decided to take the night off after beating us though. Could have really used a win vs Washington. No way the score 2 more to tie it.

They're looking good, but still their D is a little weak to me. Let's see how they're gonna deal with tougher teams.

Im thinking Stollie is gonna have to stand on his head.

- Yosimar89

Seems weak? They've round out pretty well against a loaded western conference

This Leafs collapse is rather amusing. I'm trying not to get too excited. If the Flyers lose in regulation tomorrow night there will be panic and mass hysteria.

This St. Louis has been a juggernaut with the Rags.

It's more amusing to me because for whatever reason, The Big Smoke is the epicenter for everything we've been talking about for months

That was an all-in move from Sather - if the Rags get bounced from the playoffs in the first-round, it would be... *clears throat for best Mr. Burns voice*

Excellent.

That Wild team fell from first to out of the playoffs in the blink of an eye. It was incredible.

I think a lot of people saw this coming from the Leafs

They give up a 2015 1st rounder too if they reach the conference finals

The thing is they had the Bruins on the ropes last year before coming apart, to follow up that with this type of collapse is unbelievable.

It's even worse than that -- that team just couldn't score and didn't even have the talent to score. It was amazing they held on as long as they did.

The Leafs...if they weren't so damn stubborn, they might've been able to find a different piece or two to help them stabilize some of the things that people have been saying about them for two years -- things that, no matter how you slice it, are true

I have no doubt. 100 percent chance it happens.

It will most likely be after a neutral zone turnover leading to a 2-on-1 rush toward Mason. Grossmann will be the only defender back, and will actually play the pass well. However, St. Louis's attempt will still bank off Nick's head, and trickle through Mason's five-hole.
