seriously?

I know you guys hate the Bruins. But they are the class of the East right now and built for a playoff run.

i don't know who in the East CAN be Boston at this point in a 7 gamer. and i would probably pick 1 or 2 teams that had a better chance than Pitts. but the question with the Bruins is, have the peaked too early? you never know. they're the odds on favourite to go to the Final but strange things happen in the playoffs.
- DoubleDown

Habs definitely can. Montreal has a habit of refusing to play "Bruins hockey", which is what Boston relies on to win games. They want you to play a tough game, because they'll win in almost every category of that. Montreal won't play that style, and it frustrates the poop out of the Bruins. You saw some of that last night.

We’ve certainly seen this show before — many, many times when these clubs have collided — but it’s still fun for the fans and even the players, if not the coaches. It was all so familiar. The Canadiens getting under the Bruins’ skin with their customary cheap shots and whining, the B’s taking undisciplined penalties, and the Habs finding a way to eke out a win.

In any case, the hit sparked a fair amount of mayhem, and gave Montreal its first of three consecutive power plays. One came after Kevan Miller KO’d Montreal’s Travis Moen with a devastating right hand. Someone has to explain to Moen that Canadiens don’t stand up and fight, they dish cheap shots. Moen paid for it by getting knocked semi-unconscious and having to be helped off the ice.

geez can't imagine where Bruins fans get it from...

Then think how frustrated they will be after several games?!?

Seriously though, the Bruins are getting away with a lot of BS, and it's even worse in the playoffs...

Yeah, but refusing to play Bruins hockey for a series is much easier to do than saying "Montreal can beat them if Carey Price gets hot and Pacioretty scores 8 points".

I didn't say the Habs WOULD win, and if I did, I apologize. I meant to say they CAN, and gave a reason why.
