The WHL has set up a trust fund to help pay for Bozon's medical bills.

Why would he have any medical bills?

No idea...unless he needed certain treatment that wasn't covered by his provicial plan.

Well, one would hope the team he's playing for would have his medical covered.

Mr. Molson will take care of it.

The Philadelphia Eagles on Friday released wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

The Eagles issued a statement on Twitter.

After careful consideration this offseason, Eagles decide to part ways with DeSean Jackson. The team informed him of his release today.

So? He could be a resident, which would qualify him for coverage.

Yeah, they'll obviously sign the classic "hometown discount deal", like Clarkson.

If he's covered why would he want money to pay for care?

they have about as much chance of this as Vanek signing with the Habs.
- tennisball

Actually, Vanek signing is possible. The other two aren't UFAs, so them signing is in fact, impossible. As usual, you're a clueless (frank).

not to mention the CHL has tons of non-Canadian imports. can't be that they're all living here with no medical insurance. and also, wouldn't his French medical coverage cover at least a good chunk of it?

This may be a reach. I know taking my OHIP coverage to the US covers me for very little (under $200 I think), but my group insurance is far more liberal. I have heard that France has the best healthcare system in the world (access to care, wait times, etc.), but the question remains whether that system extends itself internationally.

ah. ok. but still... can't be that these guys only have coverage for hockey-related injuries. you would have to be insane to put yourself at risk like that.

Maybe, they have insurance to cover for hockey related accidents/injuries for health and dental.

But the insurance won't pay for a meningitis that is clearly non hockey related.

I don't think any of them are possible actually.

But continue to insult.

There is a name for that. It's called "Little man's syndrome."

Adam. I will explain it to you because you generally aren't a power hungry website moderator.

Nowhere did I say the Leafs would sign Tavares and Stamkos. Marty said apparently the Leafs were getting them....it was not said how. Could be a trade.
I don't like the chances of any of these things happening.
