That puck was a (frank)ing knuckleball. No way you can watch that video, the overhead angle, and say it's unreasonable to think the puck might have crossed the line between the 2nd and 3rd bounce. Because the overhead angle is out in front of the net, that means the pucker is deeper than what is being viewed.

At 37 seconds, the puck is almost gone, completely hidden by the crossbar. And if while it's spinning, flipping end over end, white can be seen between it and the goal line, it's a goal.

It was very close, and very interesting, with a bit of an optical illusion to cap it all off.

I've never seen a goal count in a similar fashion. Knuckle puck or not. There is no way the entire puck could have been across the goal line after hitting the second post if it hit the third post and came out. There's no force that can be explained to have the Puck travel across the goal line and back out. Can't be explained. Forget the video

I liked both players TBH, and was shocked to see them both traded. I personally liked Richards better than Carter and thought he was a very good lead by example captain. I was glad to see them win the cup in LA (and mostly because Hexy got his SC ring and his name on the cup). It'll be 10 years before we can determine who won those trades.
