Not really. Extremism leads to dictatorship. Fascism is far right extremism. Socialism is far left extremism. Neither is good.


Or do you disagree on Rush? The guy that calls himself a foot soldier in the Reagan revolution, yet never even registered to vote before Reagan was in his second term? He did well, found himself a niche. He's a lot better at it than most. Certainly better than that blowhole Olbermann. But turning politics into a bloodsport turns me off, whether it's left or right.

On the Rush front. However, politics has always been a bloodsport. It's too critical for it not to be. I just don't see extremism like others do. It's a derogatory word used to attack those who disagree with liberals. I'm not an extremist because I don't want gun registration, for example.

They do exist though. Please don't confuse my meaning here. I'm on a cell phone, on a bridge, trying to piece together a coherent thought on politics while dodging cranes holding steel.
