I was looking at old stats and there's only 4 players still on the team from the end of the 2010 season. Hank Girardi Staal and Boyle. Crazy how different the team is. |

Gotta think he ends up in the top 5 if not a nominee for the Norris Trophy.
Brassard is 6 points away from tying his career high. I wonder if he's gonna get it. - rangerdanger94
If he's not at least top 5 in voting then the voters are missing some good hockey

that was awesome last night, definitely the most excited I have gotten all year
McDonagh absolutely should be a Norris finalist, I don't care who has more points, 42 points on the Rangers from the blueline is downright miraculous.
The Girardi tying goal and the McD winning goal, both of them in front of the opposing net.
That's wild stuff. |

9 games left, 6 very winnable games vs teams on the outside, gotta be all in after last night, can't bury them early anymore, they finally got over that hump |

That is the flaw, the award is greatly influenced by points. Really dumb and should be changed. |

My 3 would be Keith, Pietrangelo and McDonagh
I remember reading either a Islanders or Devils fan comment before the Olympics that Mcdonagh shouldn't be on Team USA because he's a 5th or 6th defensman at best, I love haters |

hey, Islander fans obviously know good defense. That organization is a defensive stalwart year in and year out. |

I just about went through the floor after jumping out of my seat and was pumping my fist like Bernie Nichols. Stoked!! It's time for the playoffs. Win tomorrow night and keeping the Rangers out of te playoffs will be difficult. |

Nothing I love more than when you busted out the old chickendirt "Brendan Witt is better than Marc Staal" thing from ways back. That guy was the dictionary definition of a Ranger hater. |

Where is that Penguin fan that was saying the Penguins are better defensively and gave that whole shpeel (never knew how to spell that) about why the penguins are where they are and the Rangers are where they are? I never thought I'd say this, but I want a crack at them in the playoffs.
By the way, read Paul Stewarts blog about James Neal. Great read. Shots taken at not just Neal but calling Crosby out as a lousy leader. Lol |

Could you imagine Montreal's d if they never gave up McDonagh. Subban & McDonagh. They would have 2 of the best young d men in the league. |

Unbelievable, and he was the throw in, in that trade ... - mdw7413
Surprised the Montreal police weren't called in to investigate. |

We've mentioned it million times here but just NEVER gets old how lopsided that trade was. |

They had a great Draft that year. Mcd subban and pactioretty in the first 2 rounds.

They gave up on him as a 20 year old bc he wasn't productive as an offensive player in college. As Torts used to say, "dumbness". I am beyond happy that the Ranger are benefitting from the dumbness of Bob Gainey |

Yup, not only that we got McDonagh, but technically got Gaborik because that trade. They got Gomez, Pyatt & Busto.... Has to be one of the most lopsided trades ever |

That same year we drafted chereponav and Antoine lafleur then didn't have a pick until the 5th and drafted max campbell. |
