essentially 17-20 at home. Certainly not good enough at home, but considering how they started on the road this year is amazing they are where they are.

They had one other this year. A four game win streak right before the Olympics with the outdoor games being a couple of them.

Should be a real intense game on Thursday and possibly a prelude of things to come. I love Rangers-Flyers games.

I would let Stepan & Marty rest on Wednesday. Neither is physical, and you know the way Philly has been playing its going to probably be nasty. Bring Miller up for the game, and maybe have Haggerty play. Wednesday is important, but not as important as it would have been if we lost. Marty & Stepan getting better is more important now.

is haggerty gonna see any icetime at all this season? from what i've read, the only reason he's up with the club is because he's ineligible to be sent down to the AHL since he was signed after a certain deadline.

That's amazing, I wouldn't have thought that, that season seemed like it was 5 game win streak after 5 game win streak

Against those bums, I want Carcillo in the line up too.

Yeah, I doubt he will see icetime. But I don't want to see Stepan or Marty playing against a physical team like Philly, if they are still foggy in the head. They looked like the walking dead tonight. Maybe Carcillo & Miller. If Step & Marty are going to play, coaches better make sure they are 100%

I get what you're saying but if they can recover enough you need that skill. To me they need to fix this PP stat!! Bc those physical teams will think twice if you make them pay.

Well they thought they could play tonight I think they probably should have rested. With that dingbat Rinaldo running around just looking for a big hit, I wouldn't want Marty or Step out there if they are foggy

the powerplay was so hot early on in the season that their recent ineptitude is covered up and on paper, their powerplay is still a middle-of-the-pack powerplay in terms of percentage. but realistically, it's been pretty terrible production-wise. it needs to get going again because it was a key in a ton of wins earlier this season.

That 2nd unit of Brassard , Pouliot & Zucc was insane. Wonder what the hell happened to that chemistry. They were almost a sure bet for a goal on the PP.

yea but who are we kidding...they're hockey players after all. weren't 2 unnamed players banged up enough to be gametime decisions last game? i can't even tell who those guys are cuz they're playing through it like warriors.

Just watching the highlights and I love Brass' emotion, to me he's an underrated leader on this team

yea that unit just isn't working anymore.

i'd love to see a unit of Nash - Brassard - Zuccarello with McDonagh and St. Louis at the point. 2nd unit can be Kreider - Stepan - Pouliot with Staal and Diaz on the point.

So do I. Would love it if they are back. Just got to push back that warrior mentality and know when you are hurting the team more than helping.

Like Diaz from the point. No hesitation, just winds up and rips it.

Gotta think he ends up in the top 5 if not a nominee for the Norris Trophy.

Brassard is 6 points away from tying his career high. I wonder if he's gonna get it.
