Poor April Reimer should just deactivate her Twitter. Toronto really looks poised to miss the playoffs.

Isn't their defense somewhat questionable, once you get past Suter and Brodin?

You can't play a guy 30 minutes a night and then expect, in Game 70-plus, that he's going to carry that load effectively, I would think

Ha! I've been lurking, off and on, today, but really, the Flyers are doing so many things well, what is there really to say?

Though I am glad that Tye McGinn was the recall -- not because he's a season-saver, but you can at least play him 7-9 minutes and not get hurt.

They have to play that fourth line 7-9 minutes

The table is being set for the Flyers to run their streak to seven; only to have the defensive juggernaut that is the Toronto Maple Leafs come into town and shut them out. Backstopped by a 45-save performance from the much maligned James Haymitch Reimer.

I'll just extend Bmeltz's tweets here:

Bill Meltzer ‏@billmeltzer
Hägg will sign his ELC tomorrow and be in attendance at Flyers-Kings game tomorrow night.

Hägg said he's been focusing mostly on his defensive game this year but over time wants to develop into 2-way D who adds to offense, too.

Hägg said the Brynäs rumors were untrue ("I just laughed at it").

Hägg will join the Phantoms on Thursday and spend about a month in the US.

In terms of next year, he more or less said he will play wherever the organizations thinks is best and he will see how it goes.

That could mean he's a phantom next year

Ha! From what I'm reading, I'm thinking that Reimer might not get on the ice for them again

I think Carlyle would rather play a one-legged Bernier and his AHL call-up than put Reimer back out there

Fan votes count as 1% of the overall vote, which means very fans and probably for the better won't actually determine who makes the final 3 or the winner.

That means that we get to control his role on and playing time woooo. Why cant Sam Morin play for them? Just cause he's in the CHL now?

It's just brutal -- they give up a 2-on-1 for a goal, a straight breakaway for a goal, then Reimer gives up a bit of a softie, and man, the Leafs are in deep, deep trouble

This is a good move for Hagg to develop his game in North America. I have to believe he will be on the top pairing and play in all situations. He would have to really bomb the rest of this year and training camp next year not to start in the AHL.

WOW

Can't believe NJ didn't score there -- that AHL dude, if Toronto manages to rally and get a point or win, just might have saved the Leafs' season with that save

You think Mcginn will be on the 4th line? I hope they put him on the 3rd line and keep rolling these lines. Flyers are really expanding a lot of energy in these games and they need to be consistently rolling these lines to spread the minutes. I think Cooter and Read can make up for Mcginns shortcomings in his own zone. And I really dont want that 4th line touched. They can also doubleshift Raffl at times onto the 3rd line to cut into Mcginns minutes. Not a big problem
