I know. He should be in Juniors next season and allow him to play the point on the top PP unit. Allow him to develop his offense.

I remember when everyone was talking about trading our young centers because we had so many. Now that we are starting to see their potential, those people have disappeared.

- PhillySportsGuy

Eh. I still believe we should trade Schenn. I just think right now isnt the right time to trade him. I would give him another season to really develop his game and try to deal for a young stud defender like Trouba or Lindholm. If you cant get someone of that quality than just keep him

I got to 8.6 miles today. Could have went to 10 or more but had to turn back and do molec. Really felt great today.

From 30th Street Station up to some viewing area thing for watching rowing, back down to the South Street Bridge, then over through Penn's campus. Took me about 90 minutes

Columbus. Definitely Columbus...only because I'd probably make it to a playoff game or two up there. Otherwise, as far as I am concerned they play who they play and gotta win it to stay in it.

Looks like Washington is going to get at least a point tonight. Damn. Seems so damn hard for the Flyers to get some separation from the teams behind them...even when they go on a tear.

I'm not. I just run for fun...I was never a runner til college. Just decided to go for a walk one day around the city, and then decided a run would be ok, then decided I liked it.

Have ran competitively yet nor any 5k's etc

Did you run on a team in college? That's what I did. I did rowing for a year in high school --I was coxswain, which meant I pretty much ran and steered the boat. Then in college I joined the XC team and was terrible.

Nah man we have a XC team here but I don't run for them. It's just one of those things- honestly I don't think I'd want to do it competitively. 5k's and the like are a different story, but as far as something like XC, I don't like the prospect of not liking running anymore if I have a bad experience or anything like that

Ipod are you kidding me novice my life revolves around music

EDIT: For real though, it does help with sustaining a good rhythm for breathing and strides and stuff. At least for me it does

I ran XC in college for two years. Swear to you, majority of the races I ended up in last place--the reason? I couldn't have my ipod. Music makes me run, gets me amped, soothes the soul.

I'm doing the Broad Street Run for the third time in my career, and this year I will be doing it with an ipod. Can't wait.

Confirm/Deny: Jack Adams worthy or not, Berube deserves at least another year behind the bench.

Confirm 100%

I also believe he's certainly top 2 in the Jack Adams race. It's him or Roy.

I also also believe G is top 2 in the MVP race. I really think it's him or Crosby. No 2 players are more important to their teams' successes than these guys. I really could make a huge case for Giroux being even more important to the Flyers' success than Crosby is to the Pens, but you can't overlook the fact that Crosby has 15 more points.

I'm really not trying to sound homerish. But I think a strong case can be made. Only a case though.

***The author of this post would like to convey to his readers the fact that he does not, by any means, think Giroux is the better hockey player of the 2 subjects in question. The author offers his sincerest and firmest emphasis on the fact the Crosby is a better overall player than Giroux. The author also would like to thanks his readers for their time.

B-rüb should at least be a finalist. If Giroux continues his climb in the points, he should also be an MVP finalist. I know some will crow if they don't actually win, but it will mean a lot if they're right up in there.

I'm with you. All I'm asking for is fairly serious consideration.

I'm not an idiot- if Chiefs ends up a runner up for the Jack Adams behind Roy's winning, I'm not gonna say it was robbery. Roy has done something special over there in Colorado too, just like Berube has here.

Same thing with Giroux. Giroux or Crosby for the Hart is a hilarious example of a wealth of riches. A strong case can be made for either of them, but there's no wrong choice. And for that reason, nobody really has any right to complain, Pen fan or Flyer fan, if both players are nominated as finalists.
