Well, the Raiders are usually the last team to adjust. Maybe they think its still the 70s. Just give them some time.

I believe it may be time to believe Mason is legit and will not wilt. He hasn't played this many games in years and is getting stronger down the stretch.
- ravishingone

I think they believed it even before this streak. Thats why they gave him the extension.

I like Mason a lot. He's big, plays the puck well, works hard and can make those 10 bell saves.

The save he made on Roy on the third period PP was outstanding. It was more than a momentum save. It was a game winning save. Blues really deflated after not scoring on that PP.

As for the math...

Because the Flyers just keep racking up ROWs -- though, I stress, they haven't clinched ANYTHING AT ALL -- the math, as of this moment...it's getting really hard for them to play even average hockey the rest of the way and not make it.

A Washington loss in regulation tonight and Detroit loss in regulation this afternoon -- they're tied at the moment -- man, it would really start to get hard for the Flyers to not make it.

After the debacle of last season, where nothing felt right until the end when it was too late...feels good, right now.

I changed my mind.

(frank) molec.

It's nice, I'm happy (which is rare lately), the Flyers beat the Blues.

(frank) molec. I'm off to the Schuylkill River and Boathouse Row for an 8 mile run. Then we can do molec.

So, til later tonight, ladies and gents

Im rooting for Washington. I want them in the first round. I relish the idea of seeing Ovechkin on the ice for 25 minutes in a critical game.

You know, its awesome what kind of run they are on, but times like this make me miss Pronger a little.

He deserved to enjoy this, but I am sure he is still involved in that locker-room somehow.

He could use those $50 CCM roller hockey pads with the 3 straps on the back.

If he plays like this, it doesn't matter what he wears

In my opinion, Craig Berube is not getting enough credit that he deserves. If we look through the Season, there is a clear difference between a team believing in itself, and what it's capable of doing. And buying into what a Coach is telling them to do. That is a huge factor in Hockey. Laviolette was a good Coach. But it was clear that the team couldn't play that way, and the players knew it. And they did not believe in how they were being asked to play. That's life as an NHL Coach. But Berube has been slowly and surely, changing how this team plays, and giving them an identity of a team that supports the puck, and plays as a 5 man unit in all 3 zones. And competes. That is how every good team in the NHL plays. And the Flyers are mirroring that as a team right now. Hopefully it continues. There are still probably some shortcoming personnel wise. But that can't be fixed right now. But I don't know how anyone can doubt this team, or this Coach, or this GM right now.

Ha! How about the Flyers clinch first, then Washington can get as hot as they want?

I'm paranoid!

i'm nothing but purely impressed with what this team done. and frankly, they deserved to win the toronto OT loss and devils regulation loss right after.

that said, they can't be satisfied with what they've done yet. they don't seem to buy anymore than 3 points up ever no matter how many games they win. i don't see a complacent team though. and it's great to see.

STL has lost once in regulation when scoring first.

Looks like by 4:00 it'll be twice.

Nice win today. Guess no one told the Flyers that they were not supposed to beat the good teams

Just saw that James Neal only got a $5000 fine for that poopshow high hit he pulled the other night. How is he not sitting? Especially with his history.

He's surrounded by a magical protective barrier provided by Crosby.
