Really intrigued how Berube and Paddock are using the d-core. Really spreading out the minutes. Kimmo with the least amount of time at even strength of all the d-men, and it wasn't even close. Doesn't seem to be a Kraijeck or Parent anywhere in this top 6.

Absolutely, Luke is playing at a level we saw last year when paired with Kimmo. It is an underrated top 6 and the forwards are really helping out closing out on the points.

I said this months ago. I learned a long time, that players, and teams, are judged over the long haul. Right now they look good. Craig Berube has got this team playing the right way. If they continue to play like this, they can do some damage.

All that's left now is to enjoy the ride!

Ha! Absolutely -- we might disagree about player personnel and usage, but make no mistake about this:

1. I never want them to lose

2. I never want them to tank

3. I always want them to make the playoffs

4. Winning down the stretch last year helped build some of the character we see right now

We can always agree to disagree, but every single game for 35 years straight, I have NEVER wanted them to do anything other than bathe in the tears of our enemies!

To be honest, Kimmo-Coburn has been a very good defensive pairing. They won't put up top pairing points, but they do a decent job of neutralizing the opponents top lines.

We give Couts and Read credit for slowing down top lines, but Timo and Coburn spend a lot of minutes out against those types of players too.

I believe it may be time to believe Mason is legit and will not wilt. He hasn't played this many games in years and is getting stronger down the stretch.
