I've stopped trying to figure out the refs. The game is so fast, these guys only get one look at the play, they don't have the benefit of instant replay. I think it's a tough job. I just like consistency.

I thought Downie wasn't aware of his surroundings at all. That wasn't a penalty imo. He basically knocked himself senseless because he has the hockey IQ of a turnip.

Truthfully...didn't want to bring that up, but it definitely hurt the Flyers in a couple of their playoff runs while he was here.

They did a lot of good things when Hitch was the coach, including getting the PK fixed and cutting down the goals-against

But the PP was fairly horrific until Stevens and Mullen got here

Don't look now, but the Flyers just poop on the Blues along the boards there since the 9:15 mark or so

He is a decent coach, but guys like him... Meh. I would always rather watch a Laviolette team, instead of a completely D first guy. I watch to be entertained, not just beat the meat when they win a game.

He's more of a threat, teams can't shade off him, when he freaking fires it

Puck seems to really be bouncing. If we could just forfeit the rest of the Sixer games in order to preserve the ice better, that would be fine with us.
