Maata would be a nice replacement for Timo. I look forward to acquiring him after the Pens playoff disaster

Ek didn't say worlds BEST. He said best all-around, and if not best then top 3. Kind of like Datsyuk.
I would say Crosby is still better all-around, but it isn't by as much as people would think. - SchennBros
I wouldn't call him (or Crosby) the best all-around player when Toews, Getzlaf, Bergeron, and even Hossa are probably better "all-around" players. |

You got kicked out of the program for arguing about politics? Did you punch the teacher? That seems a bit unfair to me. - PhillySportsGuy
Was more of a blackball thing. Teacher didn't like my politics, which was fine. Like I said, in hindsight I wonder if it was a moment for me to test my resolve. I failed to do so, and would have been a bad trait for journalism. Maybe they pushed me to see if I could handle it.
As I get older, stories get distorted by time and memory. At this point it was so long ago, I could have been in the wrong class for all that I know. |

Now that is a VERY scripted show. From the owners, to the patrons, to the "issues". I would rather just watch a Bar renovation show...more educational, less drama...

You don't need to pay writers and you don't need to pay actors.
It's the age old business model of driving down your labor costs.
I'm glad we do live in a time where quality TV shows like Breaking Bad, Mad Men, the Sopranos, etc. exist, because if we were left with only reality tv, I'd only have a television for playing video games with my son and watching sports. - johndewar
Walking dead. Justified.
Most of the best shows are on channels outside of the basic turd channels. |

ive been through this argument a lot, and i just see it differently. purely from a balancing standpoint, no, other players have better defensive games. but crosby has a greater edge in his area of strength than someone has over him in his perceived areas of weakness. |

They stopped focusing on the rebuild and stuff and spend too much time with the people. I don't care about the employees and how they don't clean or know how to shake a drink. I want to see therebuild! |

Oh, I am very familiar with that. But if that's the case, one could argue that Ovechkin is a better all-around player than Couturier because his offensive strengths far outweigh Couturier's balancing strengths. But I would argue that Couturier is a better "all-around" player.
Crosby and Giroux are in the mix, probably top-10. But to me, the best "all-around" player should be a guy who challenge for Hart, Selke, and Art Ross. And really, that's probably limited to Toews and Getzlaf. |

Hey, we are all human. I didn't realize third parties were used to steal votes. Politicians are some deviously deceptive people. If it wasn't so sad, I'd be impressed with ability. |

Same thing seems to be happening with the Pens what happened with the Flyers at some points of the season. Team is going through a rough spot and some players are being discounted. Get players back and get as healthy as possible, and see what happens on the playoffs. The true picture of a team and of players is over a large sample size, not a small sample size.
When team play is not solid, defenseman tend to look bad. |
